(A) JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for Field Surveyors to conduct field survey activities across multiple locations in India. The role requires candidates with prior field survey experience, knowledge of the local language, and proficiency in either Hindi or English. Candidates should also be comfortable using Android smartphones and online tools such as Google Drive and Google Sheets.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITY
The Field Surveyor will be responsible for carrying out field survey activities in the assigned location. Candidates should have knowledge of the local language, basic proficiency with Android smartphones and online tools such as Google Drive and Google Sheets, along with prior field survey experience. Candidates with a PC setup/Laptop would be preferred.
(B) QUALIFICATION & SKILL-SET
Qualification
• Minimum qualification: 10+2
• Diploma holders are also eligible.
Language
• Knowledge of the local language is a must.
• Proficiency in either Hindi or English is required.
Smartphone
• Should have knowledge of Android smartphones and online software like Google Drive, Google Sheets, etc.
Experience
• 3+ months’ experience in field survey.
REQUIRED SKILLS
• Knowledge of Telecom/OFC infrastructure and field survey activities.
• Working knowledge of GPS/GNSS and mobile survey applications.
• Basic knowledge of GIS, digital mapping, and Excel.
• Ability to read maps, DTP drawings, and route plans.
• Knowledge of OFC routes, ducts, chambers, joints, road crossings, and ROW.
• Good field coordination, communication, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work at project/remote locations.
• GNSS/RTK survey experience.
