(A) JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Software Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of software development projects. The ideal candidate will be PMP-certified, possess strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, and have proven experience managing complex projects across cross-functional teams.
(B) JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITY
- Lead planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of software projects
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements
- Develop detailed project plans and track progress against milestones
- Manage cross-functional teams including developers, QA, UX, DevOps, and vendors
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
- Coordinate with stakeholders, clients, and senior management
- Manage change requests and scope adjustments effectively
- Monitor project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices
- Facilitate sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives (for Agile projects)
- Prepare status reports, dashboards, and executive summaries
- Ensure compliance with organizational processes and governance
(C) QUALIFICATION & SKILLSET
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field
- PMP Certification (Mandatory)
- 6–10 years of total experience in the IT/software industry
- Minimum 4+ years of hands-on project management experience
- Proven track record of delivering software projects successfully
- Strong knowledge of SDLC methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Hybrid)
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Azure DevOps)
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Experience managing enterprise or large-scale software implementations
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Vendor and stakeholder management experience
- Knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and contract management
- Experience in client-facing roles
