JOB SUMMARY
The Account Executive – New Business will be responsible for driving new logo acquisition: identifying and engaging new prospects, building pipeline, articulating the value of location-intelligence SaaS solutions, negotiating and closing deals. Success will be measured by QoQ new business revenue attainment, pipeline growth, and sales cycle effectiveness.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prospect, engage and qualify new business leads (self-generated and inbound) for SmartMarket, Lepton’s location intelligence SaaS solution across targeted verticals and geography.
• Manage the entire sales cycle including lead generation, discovery and needs analysis, solution presentation or demo, proposal creation, negotiation, and closure.
• Develop and articulate compelling business cases and ROI for location intelligence solutions such as mapping, analytics, expansion planning, and network planning.
• Work across target industries including Digital Natives, Mobility, Retail/FMCG, Telco, Logistics, BFSI, and Automotive.
• Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
• Maintain a healthy pipeline and ensure accurate forecasting using CRM tools and dashboards.
• Develop business opportunities through inside sales, marketing leads, social outreach, events, and referrals.
• Collaborate closely with presales, product, delivery, and customer success teams to ensure smooth onboarding and high customer satisfaction.
• Stay updated on market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging use cases in the location intelligence and geospatial analytics domain.
• Provide feedback to marketing and product teams regarding market opportunities and positioning gaps.
• Deliver compelling presentations, product demonstrations, and ROI/value proposition pitches.
• Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders in prospective organizations, including senior management and decision-makers, and build long-term trust and credibility.

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILL-SET & QUALIFICATIONS
• 5+ years of experience in enterprise software, SaaS, or IT solution sales with a strong track record of new customer acquisition.
• Bachelor’s degree is mandatory; MBA is preferred in Sales, Marketing, IT, Business Management, or a related field.
• Strong history of achieving quarterly sales quotas.
• Proven ability to generate pipeline independently through hunting, cold outreach, and networking.
• Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills with experience engaging C-level stakeholders.
• Understanding of software or technology value selling; exposure to analytics, GIS, location intelligence, SaaS, or data solutions is an advantage.
• Hands-on experience in forecasting, CRM usage, and sales reporting.
• High ownership mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• Startup experience is a plus.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings, demos, and industry events.
